Objective
Plox manufacturer external battery packs for mobile devices such as the apple iPhone. The client wanted a display that could list features of their product range and allow the consumer to gauge the aesthetic and weight of the products. Additionally the artwork and demo area should be interchangeable to suit new product lines.
Solution
The bulk of the display is constructed from sheet metal, MDF is used to cap the profiles and for the base. The back-panel is perforated for the use of peg hooks which hold the product, additionally it utilizes a slot-in system to attach the demonstration area, this makes for easy removal and will allow another row of product to take it's place if desired. The side panels contain a Foamex backed graphic insert which simply flexes into the profile and can be removed with ease. The whole unit sits on castors to aid easy manoeuvrability throughout the store, a requirement of the client. Updating the display for new product lines do not require the use of tools. The choice of materials make this a durable display that will serve well for a number of years.
