Objective
Swiss chocolatier Lindt requested a durable demonstration trolley that could be stocked with their Lindor range and transported around the country with ease. The trolley would be occupied by a representative to promote the product and offer free chocolate samples.
Solution
This elegant display expands outward from both sides to reveal shelved compartments stocked with Lindt’s Lindor range. Once the compartments are fully extended it opens up a space in the rear which can be used to store additional merchandise, product sample’s and advertising materials which is obscured from public view. The side compartments glide on heavy duty drawer runners. Rubber swivel castors are mounted to the underneath of the display to facilitate effortless manoeuvrability. When not in use the side compartments are locked into the cabinet to prevent stock from falling out and becoming damaged, this can also act as a security feature to prevent theft of stock when the trolley is unattended. The display is constructed from 15mm MDF finished in a cherry blossom thermofoil.
